Tanker Truck 488 responds on the Tanker Strike Team/2nd Alarm Firebox 50-02

On December 13, 2009 at 2125 hours Kingsville Volunteers were alerted to respond Tanker Truck 488 on the Tanker Stirke Team assignment for the 2nd alarm Dwelling Fire at 12607 Nancy Lee Ct in Chestnut Ridge VFC's area. TT488 was assigned as a emergency water source unit just in case water operations at the draft site became unavailable for some reason or if more water was needed in a hurry. TT488 was utilized for this task because this unit carries 4,000 gallons of water on board and was the largest capacity tanker on scene. Before TT488 was released, this unit shuttled 8,000 gallons of water to the fire ground. TT488 was placed in service at 0124 hours, 4 hours after being dispatched.
